Ricky Lee Felts, age 66, of Redgranite, Wisconsin, passed away January 14, 2021 at ThedaCare Medical Center, Berlin, Wisconsin from complications of Pneumonia.
Born on January 11, 1955 Ricky was the son of the late Elmer & Anna Felts, he grew up in the Neenah, WI area, moved to Pennsylvania in 1999 to marry Dana and start a family. Later in 2006 Ricky was hired at Skyward in Stevens Point, WI and so the family moved back to Wisconsin, settling in Amherst. Ricky became acquainted with the Seventh-day Adventist church of Almond during the summer of 2014 and began attending soon after. He was baptized into this church June of 2015 and quickly became an active member of this congregation. He continued to grow in his walk with God and enjoyed taking part in services, eventually taking on speaking roles, teaching the adult bible study class, helping with bulletin secretary work, baking fresh bread and cooking for potlucks, cooking for a prayer breakfast on Sunday morning once a month, organizing and producing Grace Notes, a newsletter for our church district to keep our fellow churches connected better as a family of believers and fully supporting outreach ministries in the community. Ricky was loved and respected by family, coworkers, neighbors, community members and church family members. He will be greatly missed.
Ricky is survived by his son Christopher (Morgan) of Clarks Summit, PA, daughters Ashley of Scranton, PA, Alisha of Falls, Crystal of Waupaca, WI,
LeeAnn of Menomonee Falls, WI, son Michael of Manawa, WI, Jonathan of Deer Park, NY and Ricky Lee of New London, WI and his ex-wife Dana of Taylor, PA, brother Elmer, Jr (Mickey) of Mississippi, nieces and of course many friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents Elmer Otto Felts and Anna Marie Schwartzkopf and brother Ron.
A memorial service for Ricky will be held on January 22, 2021 at the Almond Seventh-day Adventist church in Almond, Wisconsin with a reception to follow. Ricky’s ashes will be spread at Devil’s Lake State Park in Baraboo, Wisconsin at a later date per his request.
