Rita Rose (Prybylski) Ruffalo

Rita Rose Ruffalo, age 90 of Plainfield, passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, June 6, 2022 at Preston Place in Redgranite.
Rita was born March 2, 1932 in the town of Rose, Wisconsin, the daughter of Edmund and Constance Prybylski. She married Jesse J. Ruffalo on June 5, 1954 in Heffron. They had a wonderful life together raising their 4 boys. They enjoyed collecting classic cars, going to parades, and years of Packer games with friends. They also enjoyed spending time with many old friends, and the business friends they made through Plainfield Trucking. Spending time at Lake Ri-Jes and winters together in Florida were also very special until Jess’s death on May 3, 2007.
Rita loved her family above all else. Throughout the years she made holidays and birthdays special with her delicious meals and thoughtful gifts and cards. You could always count on her hospitality whenever you stopped by. Rita loved gardening. Her vegetable garden and flower beds were always something to admire. She also enjoyed reading, painting, and always had a puzzle on the table. In her later years she really enjoyed getting together with “the ladies” for breakfast and lunch. Rita was a devout Catholic and member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Plainfield.
She is survived by her three sons, Gregg (Reinie) Ruffalo, Neal (Julie) Ruffalo and Bruce Ruffalo;her daughter-in-law, Michell Ruffalo; her loving grandchildren, Shannon (Jaymi) Ruffalo, Brandon (Meghan) Ruffalo, Jessica Ruffalo (Matt Thiel), Alyssa Ruffalo, Bryant (Jenny) Ruffalo, Tiana (Patrick) Regenwether, Brittany (Levi) Machleit, Cassandra Ruffalo, and Devin Ruffalo; her 20 great grandchildren and many dear relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved youngest son Brian Ruffalo, her brother Dennis Prybylski, and her Sister-in-law Rose Marie Prybylski.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 17 from 9:30-11:30 A.M., with a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial following at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Plainfield, WI.
