Robert "Bob" P. Klein

Robert P. “Bob” Klein, age 77, of Redgranite, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023 at ThedaCare Hospital in Appleton.

He was born August 15, 1946 in Madison the son of Robert and Rosemary (Bitautas) Klein. He was married to Donna (Kimball) Phillips with which he had four children. He married Linda (Ryerson) on February 5, 2011.

Bob served his country in the United States Army in Korea during the Vietnam War.  Bob was an entrepreneur always searching for his next business adventure.  He was an accomplished Blue Fin Tuna fisherman, lobster hunter, pilot and an avid outdoors enjoying hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.  As a young man, he enjoyed his time on Big Silver Lake working at his parents gas station at Klein’s Landing.

Bob is survived by his wife, Linda Klein, Redgranite; his children, Jamie (John) Veilleux, Oakland, ME, Dawn Klein, Belgrade, ME, Robert (Pam) Klein, Waterboro, ME, Michael (Anna) Klein, Loxahatchee, FL., Step-children Tom Verdine, Violet Hill, AK, Ronald Verdine, Green Lake, WI, Deena (Dirk) Verheyen, Berlin, WI.,  a bonus daughter Shellie (Dave) Dresser, 22 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren ; his siblings, Pat (Jack) Edgerton, Stevens Point, WI, Sr Susan Klein, Racine, WI, Tom (Kathy) Klein, Harshaw, WI, Jane Klein, Menomonee Falls, WI and Joan (Bob) Fuller, Greendale, WI, sister-in-law Diane LaVanway, Berlin, WI, brothers-in-law Jim (Julie) Ryerson, Wautoma, WI, Steve (Wendy) Nigbor, Berlin, WI, Dale (Maggie) Nigbor, Ripon, WI.; further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law Janet Ryerson, step-daughter, Michelle Lipke, grandson Tanner Lipke and great-grandson Xander Rauls.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in the Stahl Celebration & Remembrance Center, Wautoma with full military honors services to follow.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.
