Roger W. Hamilton

Roger W. Hamilton , age 73, of Plainfield, passed away Thursday evening September 14, 2017 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital surrounded by his family.

Roger was born October 2, 1943 in Wisconsin Rapids, the son of Warren A. and Violet M. (McAllister) Hamilton.  On December 7, 1985 in Plainfield, he married Janet N, Holmes.

Mr. Hamilton was employed at Consolidated Papers, Biron Division for 35 years, retiring in 2004.  Roger was a man who enjoyed the outdoors tending to his lawn, camping, riding bike and was an avid Green Bay Packers Fan.  He was a fun-loving man who was proud of his children’s accomplishments and especially enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Janet N. Hamilton, Plainfield; three sons, Michael (Lisa) Hamilton, Patrick (Linda Lou) Hamilton and Jeff Hamilton; his daughters, Corena (Gene) Underwood and Jaime (Dwayne) Zdroik; his loving grandchildren, Erika (Zach), Kimberly (Troy), Tom, David, Christopher (Kayla), Kyle, Kaleb and Kasey; further survived by sisters-in-law, niece, nephews other relatives and many special friends.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Violet Hamilton, one brother, Duane Hamilton and two sisters, Lois and Janet Hamilton.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services.  Inurnment will be in the Hancock Cemetery.
