Ruth A. Leavitt

Ruth A. Leavitt, age 84, of rural Plainfield, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, October 13, 2016 at her home.

She was born September 24, 1932 in the town of Pine Grove, Portage County, the daughter of Thomas and Alice (Lamberton) Leavitt.

She is survived by her two brothers, William “Bill” Leavitt, Plainfield and Edward (Berdine) Leavitt, Nekoosa; her nieces and nephews, Samuel Rhoda, Stevens Point, Gretchen (Jack) Krebs, Shawano, Elizabeth (Elmer) Pettigrew, Milwaukee, Erin D. Leavitt, Oak Creek, Edison Leavitt, Nekoosa; two special great niece and nephew, Eric Rhoda and Alyson Leavitt. Further survived by other relatives and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield with the Rev. Howard Kruze officiating.
