Susan G. Lederer , age 61, of Hancock, passed away peacefully, Sunday morning, February 11th, 2018 at UW Hospital in Madison surrounded by her beloved family.

She was born on April 2nd, 1956 in Chicago, the daughter of Chester and Mary (Kranz) Fec.  She married Roger Lederer on November 22nd, 1980 in Chicago.

Susan’s love for life left an imprint on everyone that knew her.  She touched many lives by giving her time as a 4-H leader, a Waushara County Horse Association leader, a Tri-County School Board member, a Cub Scouts den mother, a softball coach, and a Prairie Pointers Quilt Guild member. She was a devoted member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Plainfield and donated her time serving as a treasurer for the PCCW and a religious educator. Susan loved being in the outdoors; canoeing, camping, and hiking. She worked at the Waushara County Health Department for the last 21 years.

She is survived by her loving husband, Roger Lederer, Hancock; her children, Roger (Holly) Lederer III, Brian Lederer, Kaitlyn (Patrick) Williams, Jessalyn Lederer; her grandchildren, Maxwell Lederer and Maverick Williams; her siblings, Gail (Ross) Lombardo, Sally (Bob) Loies, and Mike (Jeanne) Fec; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Chester and Mary Fec; and her mother-in-law, Betty Lederer.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Plainfield.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Stahl Funeral Home and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of services at the church.  In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated for The Amyloidosis Foundation as a memorial for Susan. Please forward donations to Kaitlyn Williams.
