Teona Klabunde

Teona A. Klabunde, age 88, of Stevens Point, formerly of Almond, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.
She was born September 18, 1927 in the town of Deerfield, Waushara County, the daughter of Emil and Meta (Collis) Klabunde.
Teona worked for the Wisconsin Telephone Company in Milwaukee for 35 years. After retirement she returned to Almond where she enjoyed spending time with family and freinds. She was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Almond.
She is survived by one sister, Bonnie M. Wellens, Almond; further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Almond. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at the church. Burial will be in the Grace Lutheran Cemetery, town of Deerfield, Waushara County. In lieu of flowers, memorial can be directed to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Almond.
