Wilbur J. Brown

Wilbur J. “Willie” Brown, age 74, of Hancock, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton.
He was born November 1, 1945 on the family farm in Hancock, the son of Joseph and Viola (Spaulding) Brown. He married Karen J. Schenck on August 15, 1964.
Willie farmed his entire life on the family farm in Hancock where he was born and raised and worked for other area crop farmers. Willie had a great sense of humor that always enjoyed telling stories and jokes.
He is survived by his wife, Karen J. Brown, Hancock; his three daughters, Sara (William) Duckwitz, Mauston, Sandy (special friend, Keith Kemnetz) Brown, Hancock, Lisa (fiancé Hank Hierlmeier) Brown, Montello; six grandchildren, Josh and Emily Brown, Morgan Perez, Justin (Kelly) Faretta, Cody and Darren Leibsle and three great grandchildren; one sister, Kathy Jacobson, Rockford, IL.; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Danny Brown and siblings, Eleanor, Annie, Joe, John, Hollis, Betty and Doris.
To honor Wilbur’s wishes, private family services will be held, with burial in the Fish Lake Cemetery, Hancock.
