James L. Tolzman, age 62, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully, January 30, 2015 at St. Michael’s Hospital with his family at his side.
He was born October 22, 1952 in Oconto Fall, Wisconsin the son of Albert W. and Mary Jean (Boettcher) Tolzman.
James was employed at Dick Meyer Company of Coloma. Mr. Tolzman enjoyed the outdoors especially camping, fishing and hunting. He was a simple man that enjoyed spending time with his family. James was a member of the North American Hunting Club, Whitetails Unlimited, Buck Masters, The North American Fishing Club and St. John’s Lutheran Church of Almond.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Jean Tolzman of Gillett; his daughters, Maxine (Mike) Gross, Mt. Pleasant and Heather (Chris) Worzalla, Wisconsin Rapids; seven granddaughters; his siblings, Michael Tolzman, Ridgeland, MS., Rosemary (Alvin) Swanson, Lakefield, MN., Brenda Joy (Steve) Krueger, Bonduel, Rev. Brion Tolzman, Walthill, NE., Scott (Denise) Tolzman, Dodgeville, Kevin Tolzman, Sheboygan, Jeffrey (Joy) Tolzman, Gillett; further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and special friends, Mark Rettler, Dick Meyer, Ron and Linda Natzke, Richard and Linda Rademann and Darryl and Jan Ruege.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Tolzman; and sisters-in-law, Dee and Michelle Tolzman.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. John’s Lutheran Church, Almond. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 Thursday in the Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield. Visitation will also be on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
