Violet Worden

Violet May Worden, age 90 of Plover, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Portage County Health Care Center, Stevens Point. She was born on May 25, 1924 in Almond to Ed and Hazel (Detlar) Helmrick. Violet graduated from Plainfield High School, was a mother to her five children and later worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family and will be sadly missed.

Violet is survived by her sons: Leon (Donna) Worden, Frank (Carol) Worden Jr.; daughters: Sandra (Alan) Wiese, Judith Deeke, Jo (Jerry) O'Connell; grandchildren; great grandchildren; brother: Lyle (Elaine) Helmrick; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson: Shane Worden and brother: Ray Helmrick.

Memorial services will be held at 11AM on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield with burial at a later date in Plainfield Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday at the Funeral Home from 9AM until the time of service at 11AM.
