Throughout my childhood, right through my high school days, and even now as a father raising two children, Wautoma has always been home to me. I was inspired to be a funeral director at a young age, and in 1995 he began my funeral service career. I have been honored to provide exceptional service to many area families at very difficult times in their lives. I opened my first funeral home in Plainfield in 2001 and Stahl Celebration & Remembrance Center in 2018. As a business owner, I am very hands-on and takes a lot of pride in my businesses. It’s not uncommon to drive by and see me mowing the grass, push snow, or sweeping off the sidewalks. I am passionate about funeral service and strives to ensure that everyone walking away from Stahl Funeral Services feels like it was a better experience than they could’ve ever imagined. While I am always sure to take care of all of the major details, I find that ensuring all of the little details are taken care of is what really makes a big difference. No request is too big or too small, and I never hesitate to go above and beyond what is typically expected to ensure that every family I serve only receives the best. In 1998 I married Angela Hirst and have been blessed with two children, Brady and Ava. When I find a little free time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, watching local sports, coaching, and boating. I am active in many funeral director organizations, as well as numerous local community organizations.
